Online poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many types on the earliest poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the dealer instead of each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the croupier saying "No further bets." At that point, both you and the house and of course all of the other gamblers receive five cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the bank’s first card, you have to either make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original ante, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your wager goes instantaneously to the casino. After the bet comes the showdown. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, including a sum in accordance with the original bet. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The casino pays out chips even with your original bet and fixed odds on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
