Ah, the poker tilt. If a poker gambler states at no time to have looked over the barrel of a looming poker tilt – they are either telling a lie or they have not been gambling for a long time. It’s an inevitable experience of participating in Texas Holdem, or for that matter any kind of poker.

After all we are assumingly (almost all of us) playing poker for a single purpose – to win money, it does make sense that we would wager appropriately to maximize profits. Now let us say you are up one hundred dollars off of a $100 deposit, and you take a gigantic blow in a No Limits game and your bankroll is down to $120. You have squandered eighty dollars in a hand where you were certain to pick up $200two hundred dollars when you decided to go all-in on the flop and held a ten to one advantage. And that guy! He bled you dry on the river? – Well hold it right there. This is a classic opportunity for a new bettor to start tilting.
